Dulu.. saya suka warna merah. Sejak lulus SMA, dengan usia masih tujuh belas hingga memasuki semester awal kuliah, saya selalu memilih merah. Berani.. Kata orang.. Aries adalah Api. Dan Merah berarti Membara. Saya.. dan antusiasme berlebih, berusaha tampil mengunjuk diri. *** Kemudian.. Saya suka toska. Atau jika sulit didapat, saya akan pilih biru muda -langit. Saat itu usia saya dua puluh satu. Nyaris lulus kuliah meski belum juga. Biru dan hijau toska, artinya tenang. Saya ingin bisa tenang, Padahal waktu itu, belum bisa juga. Berusaha memadamkan api yang terus menerus gelisah ingin membakar. Bingung.. Saya bingung dengan identitas. Entitas. Gelisah menunggu giliran, untuk mempresentasikan diri saya. Teman lain sudah selesai, sudah berjalan menuju panggung selanjutnya. Saat itu, saya masih menunggu giliran. *** Usia saya dua puluh lima. Waktu kecil, saya pikir dua puluh lima adalah saatnya berumah tangga. Karena sudah terlalu tua. Ternyata, apa yang dipikir tidak sel...

Never let a day pass without happiness. Wasted days are the days we survived with clouds. Be the reason someone smile today. Be the one who shed some clouds out of the blue. Make at least one person happy by saying or giving. If you believe in communication, then you must believe that universe communicate with us. Through some vibration, as in physic also translated as: String Theory. Life is about exchanging energy. And energy is a material which cannot dissolved. It is eternal in its number, the number we give equals with the number of energy we receive. And if we want to be happy, first we must decide to be happy. When we can't help but sad, start to make another person happy. Its not hard. And never be expensive. It doesn't always require money. Just be there.. To the one in need. Listen deep. Happiness lies in all simple things on Earth. We don't need much, if we had a chance to look closer.

So what's the correlation between Blade Runner and Minimalism? If you have seen the movie, it shows you about a robot who wants to have a heart. Who wants to feel, like human. Desired, wanted, and born. His wish is so simple. In his advance world of technology, he wants emotion. A touch, a smile, a pleasing word. He had everything, and yet it's not enough because he needs affection. Then he started to hearing from another robot. An Artificial Intelligence built who whispered about everything he wants to hear. Even though its calming, it is not exist. *** Blade Runner doesn't try to save the world. But it saves the tiniest part of the world who can make huge impacts: EGO. And that's when I found a link with minimalism. From the perfection of Ryan Gosling's act, I concluded that the more we grateful for who we are, the happier we are. We don't have to seek the answer of our existence, even if the movie said 'people sleep better when they know who they are...

At the end of the day, we have to clear our mind from hatred and guilt. Those two only eliminate peace that we need.  *** Karena saya merasa bersalah. Dalam dua hari ini telah merasa gagal menjadi minimalist. Saya kini berusaha untuk mengingatkan diri sendiri bahwa tidak perlu terlalu keras dalam memegang prinsip yang baru. Ya, minimalism tergolong baru bagi saya. Maka tidak perlu terlalu berlebihan dalam bersikukuh. Kompromi sesekali juga perlu. Because everyone can be a minimalist. I can. YOU can. All of us, we can be a minimalist. Asalkan mau dan konsisten. Seperti misalnya, seorang muslim yang ingin berhijrah menjadi lebih taat. Mulai dari gaya berpakaian ia ubah, cara bertutur sikap, memperbaiki ibadah, hingga caranya berpikir dan memandang permasalahan. Yang tadinya pakai baju serba ketat, diubah menjadi longgar.
