One day I am a career-driven woman loaded with motivation, the other day I am a clueless soon-to-be-thirty who watch a random video clip and cry for the energy it radiates.
I watched Selena Gomez's interview the other day, and the interviewer said that Lose you to love me is one of the best songs of her for her entire career. She didn't argue and said this song is something to her. This song amazingly represents things that she's been through and not just about one particular thing her breakup. Until that day I haven't watched the clip yet.
Now I understand how that black-and-white video means so much to her and the maker. There is always complexity behind every simple thing, right? Things could only be presented in simple ways only after the maker see the whole picture and the labyrinth of thinking that they start to point what really matters. That's the secret of simplicity; one must going thru a hell of complex trouble before simplifying things.
I cry for the lyric and her expression. (Lol ini baru tahu gue kalo video youtube bisa ada lirik kalo dinyalain subtitle, selama ini selalu buka different tab tuk search lirik. Si bodoh).
I am down for the thriving young woman, who struggles to stand on her feet despite every brick thrown at her. It's not easy, okay. We may look fine, and beautiful, and perfectly awesome, but it's a shipwreck inside our mind that needs to be fixed. But the only person who can fix it is us. No man could ever step in there and fix things.

Somebody should remake OST Cinta yang Hari ini Esok dan Seterusnya by Nirina Zubir sama Ada Cinta by Acha Irwansyah. Those songs are too good to be forgotten.
